What can I store in my container storage unit?
Anything as long as it is not illegal, inflammable, corrosive or perishable. No live animals or food can be stored.
Will my possessions be safe in the container storage units?
Yes, we take security very seriously. Our high-definition CCTV is monitored 24 hours a day. We have floodlit lighting and a gated entrance.
Are your containers weatherproof?
Our containers are designed for shipping contents across the world’s oceans. Therefore they are guaranteed to be waterproof and windproof. As well as being weatherproof, they are dry and clean so you can be reassured your items will be kept in optimal condition.
What is the minimal rental time?
We offer a flexible storage solution, so you can choose short term storage or long term storage. The minimum rental term is for one month.
Who is responsible for the insurance?
It is your responsibility to insure your own goods. We will do all we can to keep them safe and secure but ultimately, if they are of a value that needs insurance, this is something you need to take out yourself.
How and when can I access my container?
Opening hours at Tidworth Self Storage are Monday to Sunday, 6:30am – 7:30pm. Out of hours access is available upon request.
Do you offer storage to businesses as well as the general public?
Yes. Our storage units are used for businesses and for personal items. They are suitable for storing stock, tools of your trade, office furniture and business documents. Other customers use their storage unit for house moves, garden furniture, car storage and even boats, cars and motorbikes.
Do you supply the lock?
Rent a self storage unit with us and you will receive an individual high security lock for a small deposit.
On completion of the rental period, the deposit is refunded on the return of the lock and the 2 keys.
Do I have to give notice to quit?
14 days notice is required to terminate your rental.
